The symbiotic relationship between music and visual art has always intrigued me and I have set out to further explore this idea through my thesis. I am visually presenting Vera Yvan's “Misbegotten Machines of Horrific Context” re-imagining interactive, sculptural set design, and fully immersing you in the listening experience of the album. Misbegotten Machines is a conceptual album that follows the journey of the main character Vera. He traverses through an apocalyptic earth that has been consumed and torn apart by the Superstructure, an AI city construct, creating machine life forms that threaten its existence.
